I ride a Goldwing most of the time I know, I know but I aint one of them Anyway I thought I would pass along what I've been reading on a Goldwing forum. The stuff is called Rusteco. This is what one of the guys said...."I used a product called Rusteco to remove a pretty healthy coat of rust from mine.(gas tank) www.rusteco.comCost a little more than the radiator shop method, but does not require the removal of the tank, is far more environmentally safe than muriatic acid, does not require the coating of the inside of a the tank with something that will eventually flake off, can be sucked out of the tank with a shop-vac and reused, and has kept the rust out of my tank for about 4 years now." Sounds like pretty good shit. Another guy said he's been using it since the tank treatment just to soak bolts and rusty chrome pieces in and when he pulls them out it's hard to see where the rust was. I know damn near any tank is a piece of cake to pull off a bike except a Goldwing So it may not really be worth the $$ but I would buy the shit in a heartbeat to keep from having to pull the tank off the Wing. Anyway, I haven't used it but just thought I would pass this along.
